I just spent this weekend in New York City. It's a great place for my family to visit because we have family there, which means there are built in tour guides and babysitters. While there I had to shop at City Quilter. For a long time it was the only quilt shop in Manhattan and it is a great shop. Of course I spent money, and the prices were very reasonable. It is however the only quilt shop I've ever been buzzed in to.
I was also able to wander through the Metropolitan Museum of Art's new American Wing by myself. Got to hang out with my buddy, George. I'm not the only one that likes to repeat George's head over and over.
