For me 2016 was a great year - because of all of you.
- Thank you for taking classes and giving me valuable feedback.
- Thank you for attending my quilt exhibits.
- Thank you for sharing your work.
- Thank you for purchasing quilts.
- Thank you for making me laugh with your comments on my social media posts.
- Thank you for sending me loads of moral support.
2017 looks like it will again be a fun quilty year. I am excited to do more traveling and teaching. I will see some of you this year in New Jersey, North Carolina, Nebraska, and California. I'll see many more of you in New England and New York. Dates and locations of my travels are on my calendar. Check back, as I update it regularly.
I am not much for making New Year's resolutions, but for the past few years I have designated a yearly motto. The mottos are broad enough to encompass my personal and quilting life and are just good reminders throughout the year. 2015 was "Determined and Cheerful", while in 2016 I was reminded to "Be Helpful, or Get Out of the Way". 2017's motto is pinned up on my design wall to remind me to keep going, whatever the work may be.
I hope 2017 fills you with happiness and peace,
